About this blog - Fragrant Lily Flowers from My Garden

I am starting this blog just as a journal to my garden which I started this year (2009) and I hope this may be helpful for any starters.

This year I initially started with some Lily bulbs from Costco and never had any intentions to start a vegetable garden since we do not have a big backyard. But slowly got inspired by seeing people buying vegetable plants at garden center when i visited garden center for flowers and started my own vegetable garden.

As far as Lily flowers, i just bought potting soil and bulbs from costco and planted them in pots and they kept growing for the past 2 months and finally we got first 2 flowers 2 days before. they are very fragrant and pink color and look very big in size because i used a healthy soil.
